3. Grampian Pride (Aberdeen) 2019
Grampian Pride 2019 is coming to Aberdeen on Saturday 25th May 2019.
Following the success of Grampian Pride 2018, which saw 3,000 people in attendance, Four Pillars have taken the event under its wing, to give it a more solid grounding to enable it to grow and flourish over the coming years. It continues to be a joint venture with the North East LGBT+ Community Development Group and other partners.
Grampian Pride aims to bring the local and wider community together, welcoming everyone from North East Scotland, the rest of the UK, and international communities. Grampian Pride aims to provide a safe space for all LGBT+ individuals and their straight allies. The Pride event will consist of a march, various stalls, information about LGBT+ organisations and services, entertainment, key speakers, safe spaces, and a family area.
See website for details of the parade and events taking place on the day itself

4. Gay Outdoor Club
The Gay Outdoor Club is a members club - no one is paid for their role in it and no-one makes a profit from it. Every member is welcome to play a part in running the club, perhaps by organising an event, by helping to run a group or serving on the committee.
To many of our members, GOC is more than just a walking group - they have found enduring friendships and the opportunity to get out and do events that they otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to.
GOC consists of about 40 groups, which are either geographically based or specialise in a type of activity (e.g. climbing), and all events are organised through one of those groups. The local groups are run by one or more coordinators who schedule their events, are available to answer questions about their group and welcome new people.
