12. London Friend
Established in 1972 London Friend is the UK's oldest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans charity. We're here to support the health and mental well-being of the LGB&T community in and around London.
We offer counselling and support around issues such as same-sex relationships, sexual and gender identity and promoting personal growth and self-confidence. We're also home to Antidote - the UK's only LGBT drug and alcohol service. Our social groups provide a safe space to meet and socialise as an alternative to the bar and club scene.

15. Suffolk LGB&T Network
Very useful resource with lots of news, support network information, local scene information etc The Suffolk LGBT Network was founded in 1988, and evolved from the Suffolk Gay and Lesbian Helpline in 2010. Our organisation is part of the long tradition of self-help within the LGBT Community. Suffolk LGBT Network is just one of the many LGBT resources that have been established to meet the differing needs of the community.
Each year, we have contact with many people, ranging from those who are deeply unhappy with their present situation, through to parents who are worried about the future of their gay or lesbian child's future. Other callers want to know where to meet other LGBT people while they are in Suffolk or travelling away. All our volunteers are gay, lesbian, or bisexual and are trained in helpline counselling. This involves listening, giving information and utilising our own knowledge of the LGBT community.
